2015 New Year Resolutions

Well, my classes are all up and running and in the 1st week back I suggested everyone looks differently at NY resolutions.  I think we all know they don’t generally last more than 4 weeks, 6 weeks if you’re lucky and the reason being …. there is no end in sight with them and often there is nothing to measure them against.

So, ladies, why don’t you take one goal you would like to achieve in January, whether it is take something up or give something up.  Mine this year is to make sure I run at least 3 days a week, one of which will be a HITT session.

Can you see that this is achievable as I have set myself a doable, measured goal – I’ve said 3x a week and specified a type of session to mix it up too.  I’ve not said I have to run 10 miles each time or that I have to do a set time, so there is less pressure to achieve that goal.

When you get to the end of January that is the focussed goal done and managed.  Then you start a new goal in February as the main focus but of course if you can still manage to try and keep to the 1st goal great, but the main focus is on February’s goal.  Try this each month and let me know how it goes!
