Have you been through the menopause or are you peri-menopausal?
I hear from so many ladies who feel they have no get up and go anymore, or that they are exercising more than ever but not losing any weight. They don’t realise that they are probably peri-menopausal and that it is time to maybe change how they are exercising.
I have created a 6 week course for women who want to be educated about this all-important change in their lives – mentally, physically and hormonally. The course is an education – about what is happening to their bodies and how they can manage the changes.
Each week we will have a number of menopause specialists covering the following topics:
- Symptoms
- HRT – all about it and what they all mean as well as whether they are or aren’t right for you
- Pelvic health
- Self care and mental health
- Nutrition
- Stress
- Bone & muscle health
- Heart health
- Exercise – focusing on strength, cardio and movement to help the changing body.
Just as important, this course creates a safe community where everyone can openly share what they are going through. Often women think there is something wrong with them! However, by sharing, talking and learning, they soon realise they are not the only one’s to be feeling as they feel. The Everything Menopause Programme creates a support network which helps to create a happy and healthy body, mind and nervous system
This is aimed at ALL women – whether they have experienced premature menopause (before the age of 40), have had a hysterectomy, have had cancer, are in their 40’s and are noticing a bit of a change and those who may be post menopause and know they need to do more to help stay healthy.
